Introducing G.H.BASS's third collaboration with Fred Perry and our first womenswear collaboration.
Over the course of several seasons, we have endeavoured to deepen the relationship we have with Fred Perry, by exploring new adaptations of our iconic loafers.
A New Design
With a mutual connection to subculture and a passion for practicality and quality, our partnership is focused on another adaptation on our Original Penny Loafer with a textural finish, and extra detailing.
This season’s collection comes in three tonal colourways designed for Spring/Summer. The range has been made from a smooth Nubuck and Moc leather uppers, complete with a decorative silver chain reminiscent of custom jewellery and I-D bracelets, that give the shoes a tough street-ready edge.
Designed with a thick, ridged commando outsole in lightweight but durable EVA rubber, the leather in-sock is finished with a tartan trim taken from the brand’s Harrington jacket, a feature that has been visible across our collaborative pieces throughout seasons.
A first for women
After several seasons of requests, we have expanded our range to offer two women’s styles. Realised in the same silhouette and sitting on a heavy duty lug outsole. These platform loafers have been hand-crafted using our iconic tubular moccasin construction. The women’s loafers appear in a black moc leather upper and an earthy Bark Nubuck colour way, providing a softness that complements the silver ornamental detailing.
The latest collaboration between G.H.BASS and Fred Perry builds on our previous projects together. We have worked with the Fred Perry team in the past to create the G.H.BASS Fred Perry Layton Tassel Loafer in black or green leather, as well as the embossed textured upper that reference the iconic Fred Perry polo shirts,
It is a real joy to be part of this partnership which brings together two iconic fashion brands. If you are looking for a truly special men’s shoe with exceptional associations, then look no further.
