RE/DONE + Weejuns

We’re excited to announce the launch of an exclusive partnership landing on our shores just in time for London Fashion Week.
Earlier this summer we teamed up with RE/DONE jeans, the US based fashion brand founded by industry veterans Sean Barron and Jamie Mazur. Since launching in 2014, the brand has carved out a reputation for reconstructing vintage Levi’s denim into modern fits at their studio in downtown Los Angeles. Committed to taking the old and making it new again, the label has partnered with iconic American sportswear brands, like Hanes and Champion, on vintage inspired T-shirts and hoodie lines.
Respectively, for its first footwear launch, RE/DONE lends its distinct cool factor to another classic: the G.H. Bass & Co. Weejuns. The iconic Weejuns penny loafer, is a design first introduced to American markets in 1936 and was inspired by the Norwegian farm shoe designed for ‘loafing in the field’.
The Limited Edition RE/DONE + Weejuns capsule collection is a modern interpretation of a classic, using carefully sourced vintage tapestry, calf hair, patent and box leathers.
Opening in time for the launch of London Fashion Week, RE/DONE will be bringing a touch of LA cool to our Beak Street store, transforming the space into an exclusive RE/DONE + Weejuns pop-up. The space will feature the UK exclusives from the collection, including The Penny, a modern interpretation of the classic in vintage tapestry and calfskin, and The Heeled Penny, a three-inch iteration of our classic style.The space has been designed to capture the rocky Californian terrain, used as the backdrop of our campaign starring Paris Jackson and shot by famed photographer Juergen Teller.
The installation has been designed to create a playful space in which viewers can take pictures and interact with the campaign images and, of course, shop a host of RE/DONE+Weejuns styles and assorted classics.
